THe charts come locked on the hard drive and computer itself,they are JAN 2020 complete uk and ireland coverage,they are prepared by marine cartographers,,NOT A MAPPING COMPANY..,,be careful about what you are not told in other adverts...

It is FULLY RUGGED,MILITARY SPEC,but still weighs considerably less than its outdated predecessor the cf28.It has a full magnesium alloy case,shock,heated hard drive,shock proof screen,splashproof keyboard and screen,60gig hard drive, 504 minimum ram this whizzes through the charts and software.we normally fit more ram if we can.but it is not needed for the plotter.
THe cf18 has inbuilt wifi.tested
THIS IS VERY tidy CLEAN MACHINE.ALL PORT COVERS PRESENT..
Also included is. ,OPEN OFFICE and a vlc player
The chartplotter software is open cpn,latest version,with all the plug ins installed giving you dashboard,rolling rd,anchor watch,routes,mob,waypoints TIDES INTEGRATED, ,logbook,ships papers,world magnetic variation,search and rescue,great circle routes,magnetic variation,celestial nav,voyage data recorder.etc etc etc.a full manual is installed on the desktop,but the software is very easy to use and to be honest brilliant.It show the other chartplotters how its done!!!!! we fully integrate the uk and nga charts into opencpn,making this a turnkey unit.COMPLETELY SET UP<EVERYTHING.A full manual for open cpn is installed on the desktop.ALONG WITH A SHORT VIDEO DEMO,HELP FILES,MANUALS,TONNES OF EXTRA
